Asian Turkey Meat Balls With Spicy Green Beans
File this under: dinner I wish I had more of. I could have eaten 17 more of these meatballs, they’re that good! Super moist and flavorful + so easy to make. I paired with some spicy green beans that were also incredibly easy and cauliflower rice bc duh.
I’ve been trying to keep my meals easier because who wants to follow 1 million steps?! This dinner definitely falls under that category. Each of these components could be made ahead of time and reheated and still taste amazing.
Here’s how you make it.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey
1/2 cup almond flour
1 egg
1 tablespoon tamari
2 tablespoons sriracha
2 green onions thinly sliced
3 gloves garlic minced
Salt and pepper
8 oz green beans
1 tablespoon chili paste
1 tablespoon sesame oil
Red pepper flakes
Instructions:
In a large bowl mix the turkey, almond flour, egg, tamari, sriracha, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Make into balls and place on a baking sheet - about 12. Heat the oven to 400 and bake for 20-25 minutes.
In a pan or shallow pot bring water to a boil and add the green beans for 3-5 minutes. Remove and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking. Return to the pan and mix in the chili paste and sesame oil. Season with red pepper, salt and pepper. Enjoy!
